What is going on? Guys, Adam here with Adam Tristan Coaching. I got a question this week, and I get this question a lot, actually.
The question was,
"Adam, how do I put on what are some tips to put on more muscle?"
This is something I think a lot of people answer on social media, and we know that you got to eat more, right? You have to have a solid routine lifting routine where you're breaking down muscle so you can create more muscle. We know you have to recover better.
Everybody's talked about those things.
But the one thing that I haven't heard a lot of people talking about is you got to do your fu*king cardio.
Now, what that means is you got to do your glycolytic work. On some level, your body has to have the ability to transfer or mobilize carbs and fats, oxidize carbs and fats at a high level to create more ATP.
If we can create more ATP, we can create more energetics.
More things can happen within the body, meaning we have the possibility to lift more weight, break the muscle down more, and create a larger muscle.
So for those of you who want to know how to build more muscle, stop running on the coattails of, "What is cardio? I don't do cardio. It's bulking season."
If you want to get bigger, your body better know how to utilize carbs and fats very proficiently, while your heart rate's high and your oxygen levels are low. Otherwise, you're just completely cutting yourself short.
